Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference - Basketball

Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference Basketball is the men’s and women’s basketball competition administered by the Mid-Eastern Athletic Conference (MEAC), an NCAA Division I conference of Historically Black Colleges and Universities. The official platform provides schedules, standings, seedings, tournament coverage, statistics and broadcasts for its eight current members. Howard won both 2026 tournament titles at Norfolk Scope Arena: the men defeated North Carolina Central 70–63 to earn the league’s NCAA automatic berth, and the women defeated Norfolk State 53–46 for the programme’s conference-record 12th MEAC title and an NCAA berth. The 2027 men’s and women’s tournaments are scheduled for 10–13 March in Norfolk, Virginia; ESPN holds MEAC media rights through 2030–31. This profile concerns the MEAC basketball organiser and championships, not a member university or another HBCU conference.
