Northwest Conference Basketball is the men’s and women’s collegiate basketball competition of the Northwest Conference (NWC), an NCAA Division III league of nine private colleges and universities in Oregon and Washington. Founded in 1926, the conference adopted its present name upon joining NCAA Division III in 1996. Its basketball seasons include conference schedules, statistics and championship tournaments, with tournament winners receiving the conference’s NCAA Division III automatic qualification. In 2025–26, Lewis & Clark won the NWC men’s tournament and Whitman won the women’s tournament. The NWC combines competition in the Pacific Northwest with its stated emphasis on academic centrality, unity and competitive excellence.
