Los Angeles County North

Los Angeles County North Agency Sports is the North Agency youth basketball programme of Los Angeles County Parks & Recreation. The County's sports programme provides affordable, community-based leagues and instructional activity intended to build teamwork, confidence, healthy competition and lifelong fitness. Basketball is offered seasonally, with youth and girls' leagues focused on fundamentals, game strategy, sportsmanship and fun. The North Agency's verified QuickScores portal publishes youth basketball schedules, standings and results for locations and districts including El Cariso, Castaic Regional Sports Complex, East Antelope Valley, Foothill District and West Antelope Valley. Winter 2025-26 included a North Agency youth Division 4 All-Star Tournament at El Cariso Park Gymnasium, and Summer 2026 scheduling lists Division 4 through Division 7 youth competition. LA County Parks lists North Agency sites for open-play basketball, including Castaic Regional Sports Complex, El Cariso Park, George Lane Park, Loma Alta Park and Stephen Sorensen Park. Volunteer coaches must complete County requirements including mandatory-reporter certification, NAYS certification and Live Scan clearance. This is a Los Angeles County recreation programme rather than an independent basketball federation.
