Village of Glendale Heights

United States - Basketball

The Village of Glendale Heights Parks & Recreation Department provides basketball programmes and recreation facilities for Glendale Heights, Illinois. Its Sports Hub is the central athletics venue, with junior-high and high-school basketball courts, an indoor turf field, racquetball court and fitness studios; the Village also maintains 22 parks. The Department's registration service supports youth, teen and adult athletics, with residents and non-residents able to enrol online, in person, by telephone or through the Parks & Recreation app. Glendale Heights teams participate in inter-community youth basketball competition, with Summer 2026 divisions including first/second-grade co-ed, third/fourth-grade boys, fifth/sixth-grade girls and boys, and seventh/eighth-grade boys. Games use Sports Hub courts as well as partner community venues. The Department also operates a men's basketball league for players aged 17 and over. Its published rules identify recreation, good sportsmanship and fair play as the league's primary aims, with NCAA rules used for A league play and IHSA rules for B and C leagues unless otherwise stated. This record concerns a Village recreation service, not an independent basketball federation.
