Michigan Community College Athletic Association
United States - Basketball
The Michigan Community College Athletic Association (MCCAA) is an intercollegiate athletics conference for community colleges in Michigan and part of NJCAA Region XII. The Association treats athletics as co-curricular activity within the educational programmes of its member institutions. It administers men's and women's basketball competition and publishes schedules, team results, standings, statistics and championship outcomes through its official athletics platform. MCCAA basketball is organised through Eastern, Northern and Western conferences. The 2024–25 men's standings show teams in all three conferences, and conference champions and qualifiers advance to NJCAA Great Lakes District tournaments. The Association also awards annual MCCAA championships: Kalamazoo Valley Community College won the 2024–25 men's basketball title and Mid Michigan College the women's title. Member colleges confirm their affiliation with both the MCCAA and NJCAA Region XII. The Association's basketball competitions form part of the community-college pathway to regional and national postseason play.
