North Dakota High School Activities Association Basketball

The North Dakota High School Activities Association (NDHSAA) administers interscholastic athletics and activities for its member high schools across North Dakota. Founded in 1908 as the High School League of North Dakota, it governs school competition, clinics, contests and festivals while promoting sportsmanship, citizenship and educational achievement. Basketball has been central to the Association since its early history: boys' state champions have been determined since 1914, while the NDHSAA sponsored combined district-level girls' basketball competition from 1973. The Association oversees boys' and girls' high-school basketball, including classifications, district and regional tournament structures, state tournaments, rules, eligibility and advisory committees. Its constitution gives district committees authority over local basketball competition and tournament qualification under NDHSAA regulations. The NDHSAA NOW public platform publishes current teams, district and region placement, schedules, rosters, standings, news and video links for basketball and other activities.
