Ohio Athletic Conference
United States - Basketball
The Ohio Athletic Conference (OAC) is an NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletic conference founded in 1902. The conference identifies itself as the nation’s third-oldest collegiate athletic conference and sponsors championships in 23 sports, including men’s and women’s basketball. Its current members are Baldwin Wallace University, Capital University, Heidelberg University, Marietta College, the University of Mount Union, Muskingum University, Ohio Northern University, Otterbein University and Wilmington College. The OAC’s official site publishes separate men’s and women’s basketball standings and conference information. NCAA records list OAC membership for both basketball programmes at member institutions and include the conference in Division III men’s basketball championship materials. This record concerns the collegiate conference and its basketball competitions, rather than a professional league or a national basketball governing body.
