United States - Basketball
The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) is an NCAA Division III intercollegiate athletic conference of private universities in Indiana, Kentucky and Ohio. It evolved in 1998 from the former Indiana Collegiate Athletic Conference and currently fields 10 member institutions. The HCAC sponsors men’s and women’s basketball, publishes standings, schedules, statistics, awards and championship results, and its current basketball standings list Anderson, Berea, Bluffton, Earlham, Franklin, Hanover, Manchester, Mount St. Joseph, Rose-Hulman and Transylvania. The men’s and women’s tournament champions receive the conference’s automatic qualification bids to the corresponding NCAA Division III Basketball Championships: Transylvania earned both HCAC automatic bids in 2026. This record concerns the collegiate conference and its basketball competitions, not a professional league or national basketball federation.
